Grilled Romaine
3 romaine lettuce hearts
1/4 c. The Tasteful Olive Garlic Butter infused olive oil
1/4 c. The Tasteful Olive Sherry wine vinegar
1 t. Italian seasoning
1 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
Parmesan cheese for garnish, if desired
Cut the stem end of the romaine just enough to get rid of any brown parts (leaving the stem intact so the romaine stays together when cut) then slice in half lengthwise. Lay the romaine pieces face side up on a sheet pan. Whisk together the olive oil, sherry vinegar, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Spoon half of the dressing over the romaine.
Preheat the grill to high. Lay the romaine on the grill cut side down and allow to sear for 2-3 minutes. Place the cooked romaine back on the same sheet pan, spoon over the rest of the vinaigrette, garnish with Parmesan and serve!
