Pomegranate Glazed Ham

1, 8-10 lb. ham shank, fully cooked (can also use a spiral sliced ham)

1/2 c. light brown sugar

2 1/2 T. The Tasteful Olive Pomegranate dark balsamic vinegar

1 1/2 T. brown mustard (could also use honey mustard or dijon mustard)

Remove the ham from the refrigerator 1-2 hours prior to cooking to allow it to come to room temperature. Preheat the oven to 325. In a small bowl place the brown sugar, balsamic, and mustard and stir to combine. Set aside.

Place the ham on a cutting board and score it in a diamond shaped pattern. This allows the glaze to penetrate deeper into the ham. If using a spiral sliced ham, skip this step.

Place the ham cut side down in a large roasting pan and roast for 50 minutes.Remove the ham from the oven, brush with half the glaze, and return to the oven for 10 minutes. Repeat the glazing process with the remaining glaze and continue roasting until the ham is warmed through. An average of 10 minutes per pound of ham is a good rule of thumb (8 lb. ham = 80 minutes total roasting time). Transfer the ham to a cutting board and let sit for 10-15 minutes before carving/slicing.
