Cilantro Cuban Marinade

1/4 c. The Tasteful Olive Onion and Cilantro infused olive oil

2 cloves garlic, chopped       

1/2 red onion, finely chopped            

1/4 c. freshly squeezed orange juice            

1/4 c. freshly squeezed lime juice                 

2 t. ground cumin

2 t. dried oregano

1 T. cilantro, chopped

Salt and pepper, to taste

Heal oil in a medium skillet over medium high heat and saute garlic and onion for 5 minutes. Add orange and lime juice and simmer for 5 minutes. Season the marinade with the cumin, oregano, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Pour everything into a blender or food processor and pulse 3 times (or use whisk) to combine. Pour into a storage container and cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
