Blood Orange French Toast With Balsamic Strawberries Ingredients: 3 large eggs 1 c. milk 2 T. sugar 1/4 c. The Tasteful Olive Blood Orange infused extra virgin olive oil 2 t. cinnamon 1 t. vanilla extract 7-10 thick slices of bread The Tasteful Olive Butter infused extra virgin olive oil, for cooking Toppings: pint of strawberries, stems removed and quartered 3 T. Strawberry Balsamic 2 T. Chocolate Balsamic Honey, to taste Whipped cream Powdered sugar In a shallow bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, oil, cinnamon, and vanilla. Dunk the bread in the mixture and soak both sides. Meanwhile, warm up a skillet over medium heat, and add some butter olive oil. Transfer the bread to the skillet and cook until golden. Turn and cook the opposite side until golden. Toss the strawberries with the balsamic vinegars. Serve the French toast with the balsamic strawberries, honey, whipped cream, and powdered sugar. |
