Roasted Game Hen
Ingredients: Serves:
Game Hens (i.e. Cornish) - enough for your party
A Tasteful Olive Spice Blend packet (we suggest Tuscan Blend, Italian Seasoning or Herbs de Provence).
A medium or high intensity olive oil from The Tasteful Olive
Directions:
Wash hens inside and out, then dry with paper towels.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Season the outside and inside of the hens with salt, pepper and the spice blend you chose.
* If you desire, stuff each hen with a whole garlic glove, 1/2 of an orange and fresh herbs like thyme, parsley and or basil.
Baste with the olive oil and roast in the oven for about 30-40 minutes (internal temp of 160 degrees). Allow to rest 10 minutes before devouring!
