1½ cups all-purpose flour
5 tablespoons sugar
½ teaspoon table salt
½ cup Mild extra-virgin olive oil from The Tasteful Olive*
2 tablespoons water
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Whisk flour, sugar, and salt together in bowl. Add oil and water and stir until uniform dough forms. Using your hands, crumble three-quarters of dough over the bottom of a pie dish. Crumble remaining dough and scatter evenly around edges. You can help yourself with the back of a measuring cup to smooth it out. Bake for 15-30 minutes depending on the filling you use. For pumpkin pie bake for 15 minutes and finish baking with the filling for about 45 minutes or until set.
*you can also use Orange or Lemon or Ginger olive oil to add flavor to your crust.
