Apple Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Granny Smith Apple Roasted Brussel Sprouts

 

3 c fresh Brussel sprouts (trimmed and cut in half)

     *Enough to feed four people

1 large granny smith apple (cubed)

½ cup chopped walnuts

The Tasteful Olive’s Himalayan Pink Salt or Lemon Rosemary Salt

1 ½ T The Tasteful Olive’s EVOO

1 ½ T The Tasteful Olive’s Smeralda Apple balsamic vinegar

Ground Black Pepper (to taste)

 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450o F. Toss Brussel sprouts, apples, walnuts, olive oil, salt and pepper in bowl until Brussel sprouts are completely covered. Place in a single layer on baking sheet lined with parchment paper (be sure to spread pieces out). Roast at 400o F for 15 minutes or until just tender. Remove from oven and drizzle with balsamic vinegar. Return to oven and roast for 5 more minutes until tender. Serve and enjoy!
